Leota Sigrid Boesen
Leota Sigrid Boesen began teaching violin and viola in The Woodlands in September 1993. She began her violin studies in 1965 and received the B.A. in music from Smith College and the MLS in Music Librarianship from Indiana University Bloomington. Ms. Boesen performed in Lincoln Center, Chartres Cathedral and in the 1977 International Choral Festival in The Hague as a Smith College Chamber Singer. Her students have received violin scholarships to Southwestern University, William Jewell College, Bowling Green State University, Sam Houston State University, and Hofstra University. Ms. Boesen produced the top junior high violist in Region 9 in Texas in 2007. Ms. Boesen is currently celebrating her 45th year as a violinist and 17th year as a violist!
